Charities We Like

rtg_logo.gif Do You Have Baby Items To Donate?
If so, I'd love to let you know about a great non-profit organization called Room to Grow that is located in both Boston and New York City. Room to Grow provides new and nearly new clothing (newborn through size 4T), books, toys, and other essential items to babies born into poverty throughout their first three years of life.

You can help babies living in poverty by donating children's items in impeccable condition to Room to Grow. Call them to arrange a drop off, or send your package to them directly. Visit their website at www.roomtogrow.org for more information about the items they accept, and to learn other ways that you can support their important work.

Making Bracelets to Make a Difference

sammieGirl.jpg Our lovely keyboardist Susie Lampert has teamed up with artist Sam Tomasello and is now selling her fun decoupage bracelets on www.sammiegirl.etsy.com.

Susie will donate a portion of the sales of every one of her bracelets to The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. This organization works globally in prevention, research and treatment of HIV with a focus on children.
